The
campsite Jelenec is situated 2 km from Jelenec under the Tribeč mountain,
between two cities : Nitra (15 km) and Zlaté; Moravce (15 km).
The cottage settlement of campsite has
20 cottages, which are four to seven bedded. The accomodation capacity
is 112 beds. Cottages are equipped with WC and drinking water.There
is also a building with WC and showers in the camp area. The dayroom
of the camp offers the opportunity to watch TV with satellite programmes
included.
Except the accomodation in wooden cottages
the camp provides opportunity to board and camp. The capacity is 57
places for caravans and tents. Quests can connect their caravans to
shunt. The camp area is grassy with asphaltic road.
There are two lakes
near the campsite, where quests have ideal conditions for fishing and
watersports with the possibility to hire water-bicycles.
The location of campsite is ideal for
tourism. For example you can make a walk-tour to the ruins of Gýmeš
castle. There is also the oldest chestnut area of Central Europe next
to the castle.
